Meet Eduardo – Personal Trainer & Online Coach in Thame, Oxfordshire

Hi, I’m Edd, and I believe fitness is about more than just looking good. It’s about feeling confident, strong, and healthy, 365 days a year.

Growing up in Portugal, I moved to the UK as a child without speaking a word of English. I struggled to communicate in the classroom, but quickly found my strength on the playground.

I was one of the fastest and strongest kids in school, and this love for sport led me to represent both my school and county in competitions. It was during this time that I discovered the powerful link between fitness and confidence.

By 16, I knew I wanted to help others build their confidence through exercise. I pursued a diploma in Sport and Exercise Science, qualified as a Personal Trainer, and began working in some of the most prestigious health clubs in central London.

Today, I bring over 20 years of experience in personal training, fitness, and performance coaching, having worked with everyone from busy professionals and athletes to clients in their 70s recovering from hip replacement. I now offer Personal Training in Thame, Oxfordshire, as well as online coaching for clients around the world who want flexible, results-driven support that fits into a busy lifestyle.

My Sporting Background

As a teenager, I played for Charlton Athletic FC at the academy level and for a Division 2 semi-pro football team in Portugal. These experiences taught me the importance of physical fitness and the mental resilience needed to perform at the highest level.

In 2016, I took on a new challenge and entered the world of men's physique competitions. The discipline and focus required pushed me to my limits, and in 2018, I placed 2nd in the World Championships at the O2 Arena in London. These experiences shaped my approach to training and gave me valuable insight into what it takes to achieve excellence, both physically and mentally.

What sets me apart is my ability to help clients overcome the barriers that busy professionals face when it comes to fitness. With my Behaviour Change Coaching methodology, I help clients transform their bodies, lose body fat, and build lasting strength, without the overwhelm that usually comes with dieting and fitness.

I’ve invested over £50,000 learning from the best coaches and mentors in the health and fitness space, ensuring I deliver the most effective, science-backed strategies.

To date, I’ve worked with over 1,000 clients, many of whom lose 20–30 lbs of body fat, increase muscle mass by 10–15%, and finally feel in control of their health again.

Most importantly, they become role models for their families and show up better in every part of their lives.
